The Madrasah began informally in Autumn 2006, with the simple aim of helping the community. As it grew, it was officially named Madrasah Qaasim ul ‘Ilm in Spring 2008 by Shaykhul Ḥadīth, Ḥaḍrat Mawlānā Muhammad Sālim Dhorāt Ṣāḥib (دَامَتْ بَرَكَاتُهُم).

Bayanāt and Discourses
Al Qaasim Academy regularly delivers Islamic talks (bayanāt) and lessons (duroos) on a range of important topics. These are shared with the community through our official WhatsApp group.
Recent bayanāt have taken place at Masjid Adam (ʿalayhis salām) in Oadby and Masjid Rahman in Leicester. During the blessed month of Ramadhān, Qur’an lessons were also held at both Masjids.
The topics covered include practical guidance, spiritual reminders, and teachings from the Qur’an and Sunnah. Listeners have found these sessions to be uplifting, relevant, and beneficial for their daily lives.
