Al Qaasim Academy
"A Place of Learning, Adab, and Guidance"

Welcome to Al Qaasim Academy

Al Qaasim Academy began in November 2011 with a simple and sincere aim:
to teach Islam with love, adab, and the guidance of our respected Elders. For over a decade, the Academy has served the St. Matthews community in Leicester, providing a safe, structured, and spiritually uplifting environment for children, adults, and families.

Our Madrasah, Madrasah Qaasim ul ‘Ilm, focuses on Qur’ān, Islamic studies, akhlāq, and character development. We aim to nurture students, young and old, who are confident in their faith, respectful in their behaviour, and connected to Allah in their daily lives. Every lesson is designed to build understanding, discipline, and good manners. The Madrasah environment is calm, friendly, and built around the values of adab and sincerity.

Alongside the Madrasah, Al Qaasim Academy offers weekly programmes and bayānāt for the wider community. These gatherings provide spiritual reminders, practical guidance, and opportunities to learn from the teachings of our Elders. Many families benefit from these sessions throughout the year, finding strength, clarity, and motivation through regular connection with Islamic knowledge.

The Academy also produces Al Qaasim Publications — simple, clear, and accessible resources to support Islamic learning at home. These publications help students strengthen their learning with adab, understanding, and daily practice. Our aim is to make Islamic learning easy, practical, and available to every household.

We are grateful for the ongoing support of parents, students, and well‑wishers. Those who wish to assist the Madrasah can do so through the Support the Madrasah section, where contributions help maintain classes, resources, and community programmes. Every donation, small or large, supports the teaching of Qur’ān, adab, and Islamic values for the next generation.

Elders’ Support for Al Qaasim Academy

Elders’ Support

Al Qaasim Academy

Al Qaasim Academy is honoured to have received du‘ā, guidance, and encouragement from respected Elders and scholars over the years. Their advice and support have been a source of strength for the Academy and its students. We make du‘ā that Allah grants all our Elders barakah, good health, and continued acceptance in their service to the Dīn. For those who have returned to Allah, we pray that their graves become gardens from the gardens of Jannah.
Āmīn.
